The Jannace Family.

Being back in D.C. after almost a year away was so refreshing. During my time there I got to photograph the one and only Jannace family. This family is one of my favorites to photograph! What I love about family photography is seeing how families and the little ones grow each year. It’s the best part of my job!

Chloe is TWO years old now, and she loves adventure and nature! During our shoot she was totally enjoying being alive and free! Chasing birds, picking flowers, throwing pebbles, and wanting to jump into the pond. How freeing is it to be happy to be alive and enjoy the creation around you?

One of the things that I love about Chris and Kayln is how much they embrace each moment and stage of life, and how they prioritize capturing these special moments. Picking flowers, chasing birds, running with Mommy and Daddy. Can you remember how wonderful and magical it was to be two years old? All these precious, beautiful moments need to be captured and remembered because time goes by way too fast. Don’t let the life in front of you slip by, embrace it and savor it!
