Hello to my beautiful friends and family!

You may be wondering if I am still doing photography? The answer is YES! I love it and I love capturing growing families at their stages of life. I love going out in the field and spending time with parents and children to hear their stories. Because I deeply love story I have also shifted into digitizing media. I have been on a journey to digitize my family legacy and my own childhood. We have HOURS….no.. DAYS....maybe WEEKS of footage from our family video camera. There is no much footage that it’s hard to go through all of it! I have been scanning family photos from as earlier as the 1920’s! Digitizing 35mm still film, VHS’s, and 8mm tapes. At times the job seems like it is never going to end. But I am ALMOST done. After two years I can finally say that I am almost done with finishing documenting my family history and childhood. I honestly can’t believe it.

Below are video highlights on 8mm tape from my own childhood. I am still working on part 4. I have done my best to break up my childhood into “sections”.

  • Video 1. Footage started when my oldest sister was born and our time living in the Bay Area of California. Then slowly transitioning into our move to Georgia.

  • Video 2: The Georgia years. My family spend some time living in Georgia in the 90’s. What a magical childhood it was running around in the front and backyard. Truly free!

  • Video 3: Starting our move to Arroyo Grande, California. Here is where I call home. Where I feel safe, loved, and most like myself. This video is where my siblings and I truly start to get creative with art and film.

I hope you can enjoy them and be on the look out for part 4 in the near future!

xoxo
